About

Hello and welcome!  As a certified Food Psychology Coach, coupled with my background in clinical mental health, I am excited to be a pioneering coach in this new field of mind-body nutrition.  How does the way we think, believe and feel about food and ourselves impact our relationship to food as a sustaining force in our lives?  How does the way we relate to food inform us about our lives?  Do we live to eat or eat to live?  Do we enjoy our meals and relish self-nurturing foods that are alive and giving or do we rush through meals putting food in our bodies that is dead and lifeless?

These are just a few of the big questions in mind-body nutrition and I am eager to share with you cutting approaches to understanding the psychology of food and dynamic eating concepts that promote greater self-love, self-understanding and compassion for ourselves and others.   Once we understand our relationship to food and the causes of our non-productive eating behaviors, we can begin to take charge of our life, change those behaviors and live more vibrant, creative lives.

Some of the specific issues we will be discussing in the context of our biography and spirituality is weight loss, chronic dieting, body image, over-eating, binge eating, compulsive eating, “under nourishment”, and digestive health concerns.   We will also discuss the Enteric Nervous System, cicadian rhythms, mindful/soulful eating, inspired eating, feminine and masculine psychology concerning food, and listening and meditation as a healing tool to name just a few.  Most importantly we will be discussing the “power of slow”, the need to slowdown and become more mindful and aware of who we are, where we are, what we are eating and what is eating us!

This blog, then, is intended to be a place to share our thoughts, feelings and beliefs about our relationship to food and to learn new ways be healthier and happier in body, mind and spirit.   I am looking forward to sharing with you my experiences and insights and learning more about yours.  Thanks for stopping in and I hope you join the conversation often.   To learn more about how to live a more miraculous life please visit my new web site at  www.miraculouslifecoaching.com.   Blessings for peace, health and happiness!
