Food Psychology, Mind-Body Nutrition and Miraculous You

Posted by: Leslie  /  Category: Food Psychology

Hello, my name is Leslie White and welcome to my food psychology blog.  Food psychology is an innovative, pioneering approach to mind-body nutrition:  The study of how our thoughts, feelings and beliefs impact nutritional metabolism and health.   Certified as a Food Psychology Coach by Marc David’s Spencer Institute and coupled with my background in clinical mental health, I am excited to be a pioneering coach in this field.

As a long time student of applied behavioral psychology, I am eager to share with you these new approaches  to understanding the psychology of food and dynamic eating concepts that promote greater self-love, self-understanding and compassion for ourselves and others.   Once we understand our relationship to food and the causes of non-productive eating behaviors, we can begin to take charge of our life, change those behaviors and live more vibrant, creative lives.

This blog, then, is intended to be a place to share our thoughts, feelings and beliefs about our relationship to food and to learn new ways be healthier and happier in body, mind and spirit.   I am looking forward to sharing with you my experiences and insights and learning more about yours.  Thanks for stopping in and I hope you join the conversation often.   To learn more about how to live a more miraculous life please visit my new web site at  www.miraculouslifecoaching.com.   Blessings for peace, health and happiness!

As a raw foodist, I am very interested in the psychology behind our food choices. Before choosing this lifestyle, I struggled with what I felt were addictive tendencies toward certain foods. Now that I have internalized the purpose of food as optimal food for the body, I have a much healthier attitude.

I am looking forward to following this blog and learning a lot more from you!

Thank you, Rana! I am looking forward to bringing you cutting edge information about our relationship between how we think and how we eat and what we can do to make that relationship healthier. Sounds like you have already taken a big first step: Awareness.
